Welcome to Yukon. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services. By accessing or using Yukon, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Yukon provides code freeze management tools that integrate with GitHub to help teams control when code can be merged into their repositories. Our service includes:

  • Repository freeze/unfreeze controls
  • Automated scheduling capabilities
  • Multiple integration options (web dashboard, Slack, API, etc.)
  • Real-time monitoring and notifications

3. Account Registration

To use our service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use

4. GitHub Integration

Yukon requires integration with your GitHub account to function. By connecting your GitHub account, you:

  • Grant us the permissions necessary to manage branch protection rules
  • Acknowledge that we access only the repositories you explicitly authorize
  • Understand that we do not store or access your source code
  • Can revoke access at any time through GitHub settings

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Plan

Our free plan includes limited features and is provided "as is" without warranty.

Paid Plans

For paid subscriptions:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use automated systems to access the service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Yukon and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Temporarily suspend service for maintenance
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Limit or restrict access to certain features

We are not liable for any interruption or loss of service.

9. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to our privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YUKON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Yukon harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Any reason with or without notice

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after account termination.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for disputes that may be brought in small claims court.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Yukon operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Yukon regarding the service.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
